My passion is to teach, in the classroom yes, but not less through my textbooks and publications. My specialty is developing material models to predict the behavior of materials when subject to loads, the environment, age, and so on. I can explain this better with a quote “It is often argued that the ultimate task of engineering research is to provide not so much a better insight into the examined phenomenon but to supply a rational predictive tool applicable in design"--Dusan Krajcinovic, Mec

By: Ever Barbero
-- Such a simple idea, but brilliant. Incredible that they inflate in 3 minutes!
-- Yes. It was Xmas 2006, someone called me to describe the problem and she asked me if I could propose a solution. Two days later I told her, "we inflate an huge airbag to seal off the tunnel." It is now a reality!
