    Biography

    Isbandi Rukminto Adi is Professor in the field of Social Welfare. His research interest is on the field of community development and community empowerment; poverty aleviation and disaster programmes; child welfare and child protection; and social welfare policy, services and programmes. He has produced thirteen textbooks. He also has published several articles in journals, newspapers and actively involved in disseminating the importance of social welfare studies in different forums.



    Rochman Achwan is professor of economic sociology at the Department of Sociology, University of Indonesia. His works have been published by Journal of Developing Societies (2016), Journal of Contemporary Asia (2013), Asian Case Research Journal (2012), and Asian Journal of Social Science (2009). He has also coauthored a chapter in Michael Burawoy et al. (2010).
