Dr. J. Allen Queen serves as Professor and Chair in the Department of Educational Leadership in the College of Education at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has served as a major consultant in block scheduling, classroom management, and safe schools to school systems throughout the United States.He has been a classroom teacher, principal, curriculum specialist, professor and college administrator. Dr. Queen has presented at international, national and state conferences and he has authored numerous books and professional journals in the field of education.Dr. Queen resides in Kings Mountain, North Carolina with his wife, Patsy and his tenth-grade son, Alex.
