    Biography

    Prof. Jaishree Paul is currently working as Scientist at Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University. She is currently involved in exploring and understanding the basic mechanisms of inflammatory bowel disease, particularly ulcerative colitis. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has published more than 50 research papers. She has solely authored a book entitled `Handbook of disease causing Microbes' published by Ane and CRC press and has contributed chapters in six books with Elsevier and with local publishers of repute. She has been invited as speaker at many international conferences. She has been awarded Visitor’s Research award by the President of India on 14th March, 2016.
     
    Dr. Rohini Muthuswami is currently working as Scientist at Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University. She is currently involved in knowing the epigenetic mechanisms that regulate the cellular processes. She has published 15 research papers and has written a book on `Exploring the Biological World' with National Book Trust, India and has also contributed a chapter on Chromatin Remodeling in Gene and Engineering. She has four patents in her name as well.
