Dr Sivaji Chakravorti is Professor in Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India with more than 29 years of teaching experience. Industrial Experience: Development Engineer in Siemens AG, Berlin in 1998 (on Lien from JU).
Professional Fellowship: Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Fellow of the National Academy of Science India (NASI), Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Fellow of West Bengal Academy Science & Technology, Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India), Fellow of The Institute of Electronics & Tele-Communications Engineers (By Invitation).
Research Fellowship: Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at TU-Munich, Germany, US-NSF Guest Scientist at Virginia Tech, USA and INSA Visiting Fellowship at IISc, Bangalore.
Academic Achievement: University Gold Medalist at both Bachelor and Master of Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University in 1983 and 1985, respectively. All India rank 3rd in GATE-1983.
