Prior to article 1 by ElMallawany (1984) Cited > 120 times, tellurite glasses was considered as intermediate glass former and no international attention on it and after 25 Years by modifying it with transition metal or rare earth ions it got unique properties (Article 2012). Telluride glasses have very high potential applications in area of optoelectronics such as laser technology and fiber optics. The interference and independent of the physical processes occurring simultaneously are the key problems in the field of material science and after solving the theoretical difficulties with amorphous solids ( Article 1992) Cited > 50 times, telluride glasses got a high international research attention and relative new commerce together with information technology and fiber amplifier . The considerable theoretical difficulties experienced for amorphous solids are amplified by the lack of precise experimental information. To fill this gap, the present work is carried out. The mutual benefits of the proposed cooperative research effort are seen as providing the fundamental base for finding new optical glasses with new applications especially  which are of interest of all countries all over the world.

Estimation of uncertainty for sulfonated grafted low density polyethylene dosime

Published: Jul 15, 2014 by Measurement, Volume 47, January 2014, Pages 22-25
Authors: H.M. Diab, R. El-Mallawany
Subjects: Materials Science

Highlights •The TL response of the new set of grafted polymer samples satisfies many requirements for dosimetry. •Sources of uncertainty; detector errors, reader errors, thermal treatments, over response. •For the used procedure, uncertainties multiply coverage factor to obtain the expanded uncertainty.
