Jonathan Knappett

Dr Jonathan Knappett joined University of Dundee in 2006, after obtaining undergraduate and PhD degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. His research interests include: (i) seismic soil-structure interaction, (ii) slope reinforcement by traditional and sustainable means and (iii) offshore foundation engineering. He is a co-author of two books, one on the design of piles in liquefiable soils and the 8th edition of the bestselling Craig’s Soil Mechanics.
