INM

I currently head a department of six staff where we conduct a variety of applied research projects in Human Factors. In my spare time, I write about ergonomics, teach, lecture and consult. I am a fellow of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, a Chartered Psychologist, a member of the Association for Psychological Science and a founding member of the South African Ergonomics Society.

Biography

I published the first edition of my textbook, Introduction to Ergonomics when I was heading the Ergonomics Group at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. After 15 years in academia, I returned to the UK and took up my present position while continuing to write and teach in my spare time.
