Biography

Dr. Narendra Kumar, S/O Er. Bhola Singh and Smt. Dhaneshwari  Devi, was born in 1976 in Pitro, a village located in Bhojpur district of Bihar, India. He received B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the Banaras Hindu University in 1996 and 1998, respectively. Prior to graduation, he completed his schoolings from Sahu-Jain MS, Dalmianagar; PTPS High School, Patratu; and St. Columba’s College, Hazaribag, India. He obtained a doctorate in Applied Physics from IIT-BHU in the year 2002. Dr. Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Sciences at Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan, India. He has over 16 years of experience in academics and research. He has published 4 international books and 28 research papers along with 6 book chapters. He is in the Editorial Boards and invited reviewer of some International Journals.  He has been Head, Department of Science (2013-2015) and has guided 4 doctoral and 5 masters' dissertations at Mody University of Science and Technology. Dr Kumar is a Life member of OSI and ISCA.
