Dr. Pramod Paliwal has over 27 years of corporate and academic experience. An MBA and PhD in Management, he is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K. He has been with School of Petroleum Management, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar-Gujarat, India Since 2006 . In profesion since 1991, Dr. Paliwal‘s earlier associations have been with The ACC Limited (a subsidiary of Holcim, Switzerland), Pacific Institute of Management, M.L.S. University, India and the India Offshore Campus of Oxford Brookes University, U.K. He has been featured in the 30th Pearl Anniversary Edition of Marquis Who’s Who in the World; 2013. Since 2017 he has been on the panel of  Chair of Indian Studies Abroad by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), MEA, Govt. of India. He is associated with international crowdsourcing consulting firm Wikistrat as a Senior Analyst in the area of Energy.
Given his academic, professional and research interest in Natural Gas industry, he has been invited for research based presentations/deliberations/conducting workshops at international forums in Natural Gas Distribution business spanning India, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and the USA.
He has published on Marketing, Energy Sector issues and Natural Gas Distribution Business in refereed international journals of Management in India, USA and Europe. He has published a volume on ‘Business Cases’ with McGrawHill International. Another book authored by him titled ‘Natural Gas Transmission & Distribution Business’ is under publication with CRC Press, Taylor & Francis.
Dr. Paliwal engages training sessions for industry professionals as well as undertakes consulting assignments. He has offered Oil & Gas Management modules to E&P professionals in India and Middle East.
