My specialist interest is in the management of coronary heart disease and PCI, as well as aortic valve disease and trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

I graduated from St.Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, University of London and underwent postgraduate training in the UK as well as undertaking an interventional cardiology Fellowship at The London Health Sciences Centre, University of Western Ontario.Education

I have a number of ongoing Cardiology interests including PCI reperfusion injury, epidemiology of smoking and acute myocardial infarction and TAVI. I have published widely in a range of medical journals and textbooks., including two editions of "ABC of Interventional Cardiology" and three editions of "Practical Interventional Cardiology" I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the British Cardiovascular Society and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society.
