Marialuisa Aliotta
I study nuclear reactions that make stars shine and convert primordial hydrogen and helium into new elements such as carbon, oxygen and iron, so crucial to the existence of life. I am also a keen mentor to young researchers and early-career academics as I rejoice in seeing them thrive in their careers.
