Rafiq Elmansy
Rafiq Elmansy is a design researcher, author, consultant and lecturer. He teaches design at the American University in Cairo and hold a master degree in Design Management. His books are published by Taylor and Francis, John Wiley and O'Railly Media. He is the founder of Designorate.com, an open-access platform for design thinking, design management and innovation. Rafiq is an Adobe Certified Instructor, Education Leader and part of their prerelease program. He writes Adobe exams for Certiport.
Biography
Rafiq Elmansy is a design researcher, consultant, author, and lecturer at the American University. His professional experience includes more than 15 years in the design industry, working with clients from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Australia. Also, his experience includes design research and his articles are published in the Design Management Review published by the Design Management Institute. Also, he is the founder of Designorate.com project, an online open-source learning platform for design management and strategic design.His design creative work is exhibited in many locations including Croatia, South Africa, and Spain. He is also a jury member and mentor in acknowledged design competitions including the Adobe Design Achievement Awards and Poster for Tomorrow. He writes academic articles for the Design Management Review and a published author for industry books for Taylor and Francis, John Wiley and O’Reilly Media.
Elmansy is an Adobe Certified Instructor and Adobe Education Leader working with Adobe to develop their applications and write Adobe certification exams for Certiport. His design work is exhibited in many countries and he is also a jury member in design competitions including the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, A’Design Awards and Poster for Tomorrow.
