Dr. Pokines is an Assistant Professor in the Forensic Anthropology Program, Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, Boston University of Medicine. Prior to Boston University, he served for 12 years at the Central Identification Laboratory in Hawai’i as a forensic anthropologist and forensic archaeologist. Dr. Pokines received his B.A. degree in anthropology and archaeology from Cornell University, his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in anthropology from the University of Chicago, and A.B.F.A. Board c
