Dr. Atul Tiwari is a research faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hawaii, USA. He has earned double subject majors, in Organic Chemistry as well as Mechanical Engineering. He has also received Ph.D. in Polymer Materials Science along with the bestowed Chartered Chemist and Chartered Scientist status from the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.

Dr Tiwari is a proficient author/editor of the technical books and Series Editor of the book series titled "Materials Degradation and Failures" being published by Wiley-Scrivener Press USA. His area of research interest includes the development of smart materials including silicones, graphene and bio-inspired biomaterials for various industrial applications. Dr. Tiwari zeal to develop new materials and has created several international patented/pending technologies that have been transferred to the industries. He is an active consultant to renowned companies and acts as associate editor of international journals. Most of his books are focused on novel developments in the materials science and engineering. Dr. Tiwari intend to publish the book that is easy to understand for young scholars and informative enough for advanced learners.Education
