New Professional Education course based on the ARMOUR book
By: Paul J. Hazell
Subjects: Engineering - Mechanical, Materials Science
UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy is offering a new 4-day professional education course based on the CRC book: Armour: Materials, Theory, and Design.
Details are available here: https://www.unsw.adfa.edu.au/study/professional-education-courses/armour-materials-theory-and-design
The course is aimed at engineers and scientists with an interest in understanding how armour works and why we choose the materials we do to construct armour systems. The course will also take a look at explosive reactive armour systems and modern defensive aid suites and include content on how to best protect armoured vehicle occupants from improvised explosive device (IED) attack.
