Thinking the Political

About the Series

Continental thinkers have fundamentally altered the way in which philosophy is conceptualized and discussed. Their work presents a major challenge to anyone working both in philosophy and in political and cultural theory. This new series is designed to present these major thinkers of our time, and the debates their work has generated, to a wider audience by showing how their ideas on society, the human being, sexuality, time, metaphysics, and revolution, open up new spaces to re-think the political.
Further volumes will consider the work of Gilles Deleuze, Luce Irigaray, Julia Kristeva, Jean Francois Lyotard, Jean Paul Sartre and Emmanuel Levinas.
