    Biography

    Robert B. Satloff is deputy director of The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, a specialist on Arab and Islamic politics, and a professorial lecturer at The Johns Hopkins School for Advanced and International Studies. He is the author of <i>From Abdullah to Hussein: Jordan in Transition<i> (forthcoming, 1994) and <i>Troubles on the East Bank: Challenges to the Domestic Stability of Jordan<i> (1986).
