    David A. Statt is Director of Studies of the Graduate School of International Businss at the University of Bristol. He has worked as a manager and an academic in Britain and the United States. His previous publications include Psychology and the World of Work (1994), Understanding the Consumer (1997) and the Concise Dictionary of Psychology (1998)
