About the Series

The SuperCrit series revisits some of the most influential architectural projects of the recent past and explores how they have influenced the way we think and design today. Featuring groundbreaking examples, these books bring together description and debate from archival sources, original press criticism and later theory and ongoing studio discussion and argument. From past to present, the books include a major designer's explanation and 'self review' of their work to a Studio audience and conclude with a real live 'crit' held with a panel of international critics. Supported by an extensive illustrated section of the projects themselves including both photographs and line drawings, these lively books are both attractive and useful and should feature on everyone’s key reading list.
