Routledge Research in Narrative, Interaction, and Discourse

About the Series

Routledge Studies in Narrative, Interaction, and Discourse focuses on new methodological and analytical developments in the study of narrative language, interaction and discourse, across different communication sites, including digital and multimodal contexts. The series is intended to provide a focal point for cutting-edge narrative research primarily in discourse analysis and sociolinguistics but we also welcome interdisciplinary and diverse perspectives, particularly those that relate to domains of practice & policy and matters of public concern. The volumes in the series strike a balance between theoretical and conceptual concerns on the one hand and on the other, empirical, micro-analytic work. The series’ interest is in the full range of narrative data, methods and practices that extend the reach and relevance of narrative analysis beyond rigid definitions and views of narrative.
