    Biography

    George Crawford is an associate professor of Teaching and Leadership at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, where he teaches organizational theory, governance, and leadership to practicing and aspiring teachers, principals, and superintendents. He received the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Education degrees from Ohio University and the Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Ohio State University. Prior to coming to Kansas, he taught vocal music and sixth grade in the public schools of West Virginia and Ohio. He has also served as an elementary principal, assistant high school principal, high school principal and school board member. He currently serves as the K.U. Professional Development School Liaison to J.C. Harmon High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
