About the Series

The Pen Green Centre in the UK is a unique facility which houses under fives and their families, offers community education, research and development, a training base and leadership centre research, as well as a children’s centre.

The centre has attracted an international reputation for outstanding excellence in early years education and care and attracts practitioners, academics and researchers from all over the world who want to witness their pioneering work.

The books in this new series explore and share different aspects of the work pioneered at Pen Green, and will demonstrate to early years practitioners and researchers how their own practice can be extended to meet the changing needs of the children in their care, their community and their family.
