    Biography

    Don Potter is an associate professor of computer science and graduate coordinator for the Artificial Intelligence Center at the University of Georgia. Dr. Potter has been involved with the IEA/AIE conference series for many years, participating as an author, member of several program committees, and PC co-chair. In addition, he is serving as secretary of the International Society of Applied Intelligence, the main sponsoring organization of the conference series., Manton Matthews is director of graduate studies in the Department of Computer Science at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Matthews has served on the Program Committee for several IEA/AIE conferences since 1989 and as program chairman for the 1990 conference in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also on the editorial board for the International Journal of Applied Intelligence and has served as treasurer for the International Society of Applied Intelligence., Moonis Ali is chairman of the Department of Computer Science at Southwest Texas State University. Dr. Ali has been the main organizing force behind these annual conferences on expert systems since they began in 1988. He is also editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Applied Intelligence and the president of the International Society of Applied Intelligence.
