    Biography

    Firdos Alam Khan is a professor and chairman of the Department of Stem Cell Research, Institute for Research and Medical Consultations, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Professor Khan has received three patents from the US Patent Office on his discovery in the field of stem cell technology. In 2014, Professor Khan received an Academic Excellence Award from Manipal Global Education Services in Bangalore, India for his contributions to the field. Professor Khan has been an associate editor of three biotech journals published by Springer. He is also a reviewer for the Scientific Report (Nature Publication), International Journal of Nanomedicine, Oncotarget and Therapy, Microscopy and Microanalysis, IET Nanobiotechnology, and Drug Design, Development and Therapy scientific journals.
