Christina (Missy) Rudin-Brown PhD has been a Senior Human Performance Analyst with the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada since 2012. She is also a part-time consultant with the Toronto-based human factors engineering company, Human Factors North, Inc. From 2009 until 2012, while working on the book, she was on secondment as a Senior Research Fellow with the Monash University Accident Research Center (MUARC) in Melbourne, Australia. Biography
Dr. Christina (Missy) Rudin-Brown is a Senior Human Performance Analyst with the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada. She also works part-time as a consultant with the Toronto-based Human Factors North, Inc. She holds Ph.D. (1998) and Master of Arts (1993) degrees in Experimental Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Previously, she was a Senior Research Fellow with the Human Factors team at the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) in Melbourne, Australia and worked for over 10 years as a Human Factors Specialist with Transport Canada’s Road Safety Directorate. She has acted as expert member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) working groups TC204 WG14 (Intelligent Transportation Systems), TC22 SC13 WG8 (Ergonomics Applicable to Road Vehicles), and ISO TC22 SC12 WG1 (Child Restraint Systems in Road Vehicles) and is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committees on Vehicle User Characteristics (AND10) and on Highway-Rail Grade Crossings (AHB60).Education
