Biography
I was born and raised on a farm in Iowa. I attended a parochial elementary and high school in my small town. I majored in chemistry in college and, following graduation with a Masters Degree in analytical chemistry, landed a job as a research scientist with the Science Center of Rockwell International in Thousand Oaks, California. After 4.5 years in California, I changed careers and took a job educating chemistry technicians at a community college in Nebraska.
