My research involves the development, improvement, and evaluation of statistical and measurement methods (i.e., analytics). My primarily research areas are the design of research studies, especially sample size planning, and longitudinal data analysis (i.e., the analysis of change). Although my research is methodological, I collaborate with substantive researchers on important projects, in which I can develop needed or apply existing, usually nonstandard, methods.
