Yong Wang

I am Professor of Structural and Fire Engineering at the University of Manchester. My research interests are structural engineering, fire resistance, and fire protection materials. I teach "Fire Engineering" at the University of Manchester. I have been researching on structural fire engineering for nearly 30 years, including 8 years at the Building Research Establishment where we carried out the Cardington structural fire research experiments. I am a member of various Eurocode committee.
