Biography

Bryan is an internationally recognized expert with over 25 years of industrial experience, having held positions as a GD&T Subject-Matter Expert, Tolerance Analyst, Dimensional Management Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Lead, Designer, Design Checker, Design Drafter, CAD Programmer, Trainer and Consultant in the areas of GD&T, Drawing Quality, Dimensional Management, Tolerance Analysis and 3D Model-Based Processes (3D MBD and 3D MBE).  He has experience working, training and consulting in many industries, both commercial and government, with companies ranging from very small to the largest multi-national corporations.  He has consulted with inspection and CAD software developers to help them improve their implementations of GD&T, 3D PMI, and model-based product definition practices.   He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the American Society for Quality, and SAE International.  He is proud to be an ASME Certified Senior Level GD&T Professional.  He was the founding President of the NW Chapter of the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) from 1992-1993.

Bryan is a leading researcher in 3D GD&T, 3D PMI, and 3D Model-Based Product Definition (MBD) and 3D Model-Based Enterprise (MBE).  He is working to develop standards, develop and improve software, and improve business process to allow industry to effectively move from 2D drawings to optimized use of annotated 3D models.  Focus is on national and international implementation of 3D product development and deployment, for agencies, OEMs, suppliers, and throughout the supply chain.

Tolerance Stackup Software Toolset v3.0

 

The Tolerance Stackup Software Toolset is a set of Microsoft Excel®-based Spreadsheet Tools customized for solving Mechanical Tolerance Analysis and Tolerance Stackup problems. We offer versions of the Tolerance Stackup Software Toolset for use with GD&T-based designs, and versions of the Tolerance Stackup Software Toolset for use with Plus and Minus Tolerancing. Each version of the Tolerance Stackup Software Toolset includes files that are optimized for Excel 2010/ 2007 and for Excel 2003.

 

The tools are based on the techniques in the books "Mechanical Tolerance Stackup and Analysis."  We have added new functionality and commands to improve the tolerance analysis process and improve the final results.
